The Illinois District Council meets formally four times per year - October, January, April, and July. Meetings begin on the first Wednesday of the designated month and continues until Saturday night of the same week. If a holiday falls in that week, the council convenes on the second Wednesday of the month. The July meeting is designated as the Annual session and is always hosted at the Diocesan's church.
